As well as a fantastic bouldering facility, Yonder houses a fully equipped co-working space, workshop, yoga studio, café and bar. A space for people to work, play, create, and unwind, providing a focal point for all aspects of the local community.

We invest time in sustaining a collaborative and friendly team who work hard together to make Yonder a world class facility. We are passionate about supporting and building our community through the provision of excellent facilities, exceptional customer service, hosting a variety of fun and inspiring events, and creating a vibrant community spirit.

Yonder has four key business areas, Climbing, Workspace, Business Development and Customer Experience.  Each has its own manager which along with the Managing Director form the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The SLT work together to make key decisions within the business and ensure all areas of Yonder are successful and working in synergy.

Social Media Manager

  • Job Title: Social Media Manager

    Reporting to: Marketing and Events Manager

    Responsible for: Promotion and Visibility

    Hours: 16 hrs p/w

    Pay: £27,000 pro rata

    As a Social Media Manager, you will work closely with the marketing manager and will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and driving user engagement. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand visibility, fostering customer relationships, and driving business growth through social media channels.

    Has a passion for creative video production and editing.

  • 1. Develop and implement social media strategy:

    Develop a comprehensive social media strategy, including content plans, posting schedules, and campaign ideas.

    2. Manage social media platforms:

    Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts.

    Create and curate compelling content, a higher focus on video content but may extend to text, images, and infographics.

    3. Engage with the audience:

    Build and nurture relationships with our social media community by actively engaging with followers, content creators, and industry stakeholders.

    Encourage user-generated content and facilitate conversations around our brand and industry topics.

    Develop and implement strategies to increase user engagement, followers, and brand loyalty.

    4. Content creation and curation:

    Create high-quality and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.

    Stay updated with industry trends, viral content, and social media best practices to curate relevant and shareable content.

    Collaborate with the team to produce visually appealing and compelling content.

    6. Social media analytics and reporting:

    Utilise social media analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns.

    Prepare regular reports on key metrics, engagement trends, and campaign results.

    Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.

  • Has previous experience in Video production and editing.

    Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager or a similar role.

    In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends.

    Strong creative thinking and content creation skills.

    Ability to effectively engage with an online community and manage customer relationships.

    Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

    Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and industry developments.

  • Has a passion for the Climbing or Yoga Industry.

    Familiarity with social media advertising and campaign management.

    Has experience in photography.

 

Kitchen Team Member

  • Job Title: Kitchen Team Member

    Reporting to: Customer Experience Manager

    Hours: 20 hrs p/w

    Pay: £13.15 p/hr

    Yonder aims to create a hub of both creativity and physical activity for a diverse range of people. The idea is that the space will create friendships, collaborations, sharing of ideas and skills whilst improving people’s health, fitness and wellbeing.

    We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a passion for people and customer service. The role is part-time and based in our cafe kitchen within Yonder.

  • As part of our cafe team you will have a passion for providing high quality hospitality service, and freshly cooked food. We are a small but close knit team looking to welcome our next member in to help us as we grow. You’ll have good initiative and not be afraid to get your hands dirty and dive in enthusiastically. Experience is desired but not necessary as we can teach all areas of coffee and food, the most important thing is confidence with speaking to customers, a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the role.

  • Kitchen Team Member

    • Prepare, cook and present Pinch dishes and hot and cold beverages, following our recipes and specifications

    • Help create menus for Yonder events and delegate packages

    • Understand and execute a HACCP

    • Responsible for recording and documenting the tasks for the HACCP

    • Take responsibility for ordering from suppliers whilst on shift

    • Be part of our Yonder family and events

  • A passion for food, hospitality and community.

    Experience in Hot and Cold Food & Beverage handling, preparation and service

    A good knowledge of food and ingredients to create great dishes and combinations.

    Experience of following H&S/ Food Hygiene & Safety legislation and guidelines

    Enjoys building meaningful relationships with customers and staff.

    Takes pride in presenting food and drink served.

    Able to work well in a small close-knit team.

    Open to a diverse community.

  • Level 2 in Food Hygiene or a willing to undertake training to achieve this

    Bakery experience

    Coffee/barista trained or willing to undertake training

    Experience in events or another role in hospitality.

    A network of food and drink suppliers.

    Good knowledge of competitors.

  • Selection will be based on application and interview. Interviews will be informal and designed to get the best out of you. We will test the criteria listed in the requirements section.
