KYLE:
What skill level are you best suited to as a coach?
Used to working with a great variety of levels, with a love for both pushing experienced climbers to discover new things and sharing passion with new and enthusiastic climbers.
Favourite boulder or climbing destination?
It’s a tough one, but most likely Brione in Switzerland. Almost all climbing destinations have an allure about them, but this place is truly magical, not to mention the half-decent rocks as well!
Strengths as a coach?
Love the board
Love micro beta
Love delicate movement and have a deep fascination with the Psychology behind climbing, especially when dealing with fear and self-limitation
Best climbing memory?
I think it would be my recent trip to North Wales, I had quite low expectations as I was coming off a small layoff due to injury, amongst other factors. I left the trip having had the best time, realising exactly what climbing is about: good people, beautiful sights and great food!

Shuyee:
What skill level are you best suited to as a coach?
Beginner and intermediate!
Favourite boulder or Climbing destination?
I have to say Albarracin, my last trip, mostly because it was a girls' trip and we all were so supportive and mostly because we are super considerate of everyone. I did discover a boulder I want to project to!
Strengths as a coach?
My strengths are teaching people technique over power. I also enjoy teaching people to have a healthy mindset when they climb. I found my passion for training the mindset and overcoming fears or scary moves. This is something I practise a lot and love training people in how to develop their head game and discipline in their climbing.
Best climbing memory?
I think it’s hard to say the best memory. I love exploring different areas. I do have a soft spot for Font, mostly because it was my first outdoor trip and I would love to go back with a good group.

Experienced coach working with beginner climbers teaching fundamental skills and intermediates looking to push their level.
Favourite boulder or climbing destination from memory?
I visited the Red River Gorge, Kentucky in 2023 for a three week sport climbing trip staying at the legendary Miguel’s. Amazing climbing community and perfect sustained routes of every angle on the best rock I’ve seen.
Strengths as a coach?
I like to focus on movement skills and mindset to help people become good all round climbers. I can provide guidance on strength training as well.
Best climbing memory?
Too many to choose from. But any of the times topping out at sunset after a long multi pitch are up there.

Getting stuck half way up a mountain in Mallorca! Had to abseil back down in the pitch black! Maybe not the “best” memory but definitely the most memorable!
